Second draft of Horror poster

Final Horror Poster

This is the second draft of my horror film poster I have created. I believe that this product illustrates my hard work and determination to create a horror film which can be seen as effective toward the audiences. The poster contains common features such as a darkened background and a read Masthead which has the connotations of death, pain and blood which is associated horror.

However I did struggle when editing the main image of Kaylah the "Victim" because I wanted to reveal to the audience what she looked like however, I wanted to audience to realise that she was being consumed by the darkness due to her face being darkened to create a shadow.
It did take time for me to adjust to the graphics tablets however I over came my problems to create a masterpiece which I can honestly say will fit in perfectly with other horror film posters e.g.  Paranormal activity, A Nightmare on elm street
