pictures used for my poster

These are the images which I have used in order to create my horror film poster. the models eyes are widened in order for the audience to recognise her fear within her eyes. When edited I believe that these pictures will be more effective when creating my poster.

I had to consider the types of shot I was going to use, I obviously used a close up shot to help the audiences see her facial expressions. I also used the close up shot because I wanted to create an "eye line match" which meant that her eyes would follow the individual who is looking at this image this helps the audience create a connection and develop a sense of sympathy  however, I did use an upwards tilted shot slightly. this allowed me to show her looking down which could represent the ghost appearing. the use of shot allowed me to see more detail within her face.

I was beginning to think about just using tools such as the paint tool within Photoshop to edit the picture, by using black and gently applying it to the image of Kaylah. it allows me to create a shadow effect which I wanted which shows connotations of consumption (Kaylah is being consumed by the darkness. this is the effect in which I wanted to create by using these images.
