click on the link above to find the results of my survey regarding the feedback of my second draft
This is the results from the feedback which I received. unfortunately this feedback was quite negative even though there was positive aspects of the film. these were the main issues
Jumping between scenes -
This meant that the film wasn't structured effectively which really made the film unorganised and ruined the flow of the production ,even though there were scenes which were effective towards the audiences E.g. (The Bathroom Scene) it was drowned out by the amount of technical errors which was within the film which effected the film negatively overall.
Pointless scenes - This was at the beginning of the film which was a dialogue of Rory and Kyle walking and talking "THIS WAS NOT SCARY" I believe this didn't catch the audiences attrition which really had an effect on the rest of the film because the audience lost concentration because the dialogue dragged on to much.
Lack of sounds - This was a slight problem because my audience thought that the film lacked depth and understanding of horror film sounds, yes they were used in the middle of the film however the feedback show that the film needed to contain many difference sounds which changed the theme within different scenes and also showed the connection within those scenes
Question 5 improvements
This is the results for question 5 within the survey. I believe that this is the most
important information needed within the survey. which helps identify "WHAT SHOULD BE IMPROVED" this graph highlights what the audience think are the areas in which we as a group need to improve on in order to produce a high standard short horror film.
Editing - 55.56% scored. This was the highest rating within the result I have collected this highlights that the editing area within the film is the most important element which needs to be improved . I do believe if this element was improved it would make a drastic change to the film therefore improving the quality and the consistency and I improved the strength of horror within the film
Sound - 44.44% scored . This shows that sound also needs some closer analysis, by adding more contrapuntal and diagetic and non diagetic sounds it will give a greater feel to our film.
Camera shots - 44.44 % scored. This shows that the camera angles were effective slightly however it is blurry due to the change in camera but also there weren't enough variety of shots and angles which could give the film a diverse view by the use of different fonts
These are the main areas in which I have identified by creating this survey, now I am able to work with my group to change and improve elements within the film to improve the way it Is presented.
